DITY Moves
A Do-It-Yourself (DITY) move describes a voluntary program that allows you to be reimbursed by the government for moving your possessions on your own. Money.com offers helpful checklists if you’re planning a DITY move. Download info on DITY moves and find a host of helpful links and resources.
U.S. Postal Service Change of Address Info
An Official Change of Address form with the U.S. Postal Service is available on their official website. The post office offers three ways to submit change of address orders:
- Call 800-ASK-USPS to change an address using the Postal Service’s Call Center
- Visit www.usps.com to make address changes online ($1 charge to your credit or debit card)
- Use the Mover’s Guide, available at all Post Offices upon request at the retail counter
